Visa is done people and its time to leave.
i had a decent weekend in chennai, for once everything dint go against me. for eg,i worried about cyclone laila and my flight got delayed and then it was bumpy and met all air pockets possible on its way and i finally got down and puked guts out in a stinky loo.
The car from hotel dint turn up for ever and i was thinking how predictable and we got out and it was the most wonderful weather ever. so breezy and cool and i was immedietly happy again.
it dint rain once we were there, i walked on marina beach after a long time and that too walked with a not at war mum-dad who in fact had very pleasant conversations with each other thus making me feel confident enough to walk much ahead.
visa was no hassle the lady told me how bloomington is beautiful and such.this fat lady on the other side with a lisp kept rejecting 4 people in a row though and the people in the line that led to her! their faces!
i had some chettinad food at ponnuswamy's and not so yumm at karaikudi.
i got myself this beautiful pair of mocccasin's so so soft that i will not wear it but just watch it, maybe!
since we had a free day and pondy or mahabalipuram wouldnt happen we went to some national park!
they had a lot of monkeys. very depressed looking monkeys,in many many cages alone!
and deer. and they had an owl in a cage!!
but anyway it was fun walking after all that rice and mutton.
thus is my trip.ps: the first pic is an attempt at symbolism but then they got along and i am so glad that i insisted on both coming along.
