I never attempt baking because well, the one time I tried, that too with a cake mix it was a disaster. But then now I understand that baking is simply a function of correct amounts and ounces and cups.
I have a love for banana bread without nuts and ever since Abigail gave me her wonderful recipe, I have been wanting to try it. Except I don't have a stand mixer. So I whisked with faith till my arm could drop and die and baked the hell out of it. A who arrived home in the evening opened the door and went--ahhahaha :) and then said some blasphemy: This is how a house should smell, not like fish fry!!! But seeing my face, he proceeded to try and correct it!!
Anyway. Look.
